The 2025 Awards Ceremony will be held at Norwood Concert Hall in Week 8, on Thursday 4 December, celebrating the achievements of our secondary students in Years 7–12 and farewelling our graduating Year 12 class. Award recipients and their families will be invited to attend this special event, which will feature award presentations, performances, and speeches, followed by an afternoon tea

Attendance Information

An EdSmart communication will be sent to the parent/carer of each award recipient and/or graduating Year 12 student. The final day to RSVP is Thursday, 27 November 2025.

Each student is invited to bring two guests. We will keep a wait list so please reply in EdSmart you would like to be considered for extra seats. If additional seats become available after RSVPs close, families on the waitlist will be contacted on Monday, 1 December 2025.

Mobile Phone Usage and Photography at the Awards Ceremony

In line with our Mobile Phone Policy, students will not be permitted to use their mobile phones during the event. On arrival, each student will be provided with a Yondr pouch to securely store their phone. The pouch will remain with the student but locked for the duration of the event. Before leaving, students will sign out with staff, at which point the pouch will be unlocked. For further information, please refer to our Mobile Phone Policy.

To protect student privacy, we kindly ask parents and carers to photograph only their own child when they receive a certificate or award. Family photos can be taken outside the venue after the ceremony. In accordance with Department for Education guidelines, we emphasize that no personal or private information is published to any publicly available webpage or printed publication. Thank you for your understanding and for respecting the privacy of our students and their families.

You will have access to a private gallery of photographs for your student. Photos will be taken by a professional photographer to capture the event. To access your private gallery scan the QR code provided in the program after the event.

Venue Information

The ceremony and afternoon tea will be held in the main hall at Norwood Concert Hall, 175 The Parade, Norwood. Please note that the area around George Street is currently undergoing upgrades. While vehicle access from The Parade is unavailable, pedestrian access remains open, and guests can enter via George Street.

For details on parking options near Norwood Concert Hall, please visit . We recommend allowing extra time to find parking and reach the venue comfortably. Available options include:

  • The Parade Central Car Park (cinema car park): Fees apply; however, parking is free if your docket is validated by a participating trader in the Parade Central shops.
  • Webbe Street Car Park: 2-hour time limit on the ground floor; some unrestricted spaces are available on the upper level.
  • Norwood Place Car Park: The first 2 hours are free for shoppers at Norwood Place.
