Aboriginal Cultural Awareness R-6 Incursion

As part of our the Primary Years curriculum, students are invited to take part in a special cultural awareness event at ÐßÐßÊÓƵ.
During this event, students will explore Aboriginal culture through fun and creative activities in The Arts, aligned with the South Australian Curriculum. They’ll join a hands-on workshop led by our Aboriginal Community Education Officer and teachers, where they’ll learn through visual art and storytelling.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover more about the rich traditions and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. The experience will supports students in appreciating the significance of culture, identity, and connection to Country, while encouraging respectful cultural expression and creativity.
Date: Wednesday 2nd July 2025
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Location: ÐßÐßÊÓƵ – 1-37 Marden Road, Marden SA 5070
Students must sign in by 10am at Student Services before making their way to Studio 1 and Students must sign out at Student Services before leaving by 2pm.
Students must bring: recess, lunch and wear clothes suitable for painting.
To attend this event: Students will be required to organise their own way to and from ÐßÐßÊÓƵ.
